Dr.A.Bharani got her Bachelor B.Sc. (Ag) Masters M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Environmental Sciences from Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU), Coimbatore. She has completed nearly 20 years of service at TNAU as Assistant Professor and Associate Professor. Currently serving as Associate Professor in Department of Environmental Sciences, TNAU, Coimbatore. She was actively involved in the promotion of organic agriculture among the farming community of Tamilnadu by conducting several capacity-building programs. She has received many awards and recognition in the various scientific forum including best thesis, paper and outstanding contribution in research. She has published 3 books, 16 book chapters, 6 review papers and 25 research papers in peer-reviewed journals and has more than 20 full papers and abstracts in various publications of national and international conferences and seminars. She has also obtained and executed research projects funded by DST, UGC, GGT Australia and ATMA, GoTN.
