Abhay Kumar is currently working as an Assistant Professor (Agroforesry) in Department of Agronomy, Ranchi Agriculture College, Birsa Agricultural University, Ranchi,Jharkhand. He has completed B.Sc. (Hons) Forestry from NAU, Gujarat and M.Sc. Agroforestry from GBPUAT,Pantnagar, Uttarakhand and Ph.D. Forestry (Pursuing),specialization in Agroforestry, BAU, Ranchi, Jharkhand. He has also qualified NET three times from ASRB-ICAR, New Delhi and UGC-NET in Environmental science. He has been awarded with Indo Global Excellence Award, Young Teacher Award and Young Scientist Award-2018 and also got NTS from July 2009 to June 2013 by ICAR. He has participated in and completed more than 10 online MOOC courses conducted by IIRS, NAARM, and Elsevier etc. He is life member of many societies and editorial member of journals. He has got more than 15 research papers, 3 book chapters and a number of articles in magazine/bulletin published and more than 20 seminar/ symposia presented or attended. He possesses 3.5 years of teaching and research experience in the areas of agroforestry, forestry, environment science, agriculture etc.
