Dr. Arun Chaudhary is presently working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Botany at Maharana Pratap Government Post Graduate College, Chittorgarh (Rajasthan). He did his M.Sc. in Botany from Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur (Raj.) in 2004 and cleared prestigious CSIR-UGC NET Life Sciences exam many times. He has also qualified GATE Life Sciences exam. He worked as CSIR JRF & SRF while pursuing his Ph.D. degree from 2006 to 2012 and studied the Bryophyte flora of Maharashtra. He is actively involved in teaching and research activities since last 10 years exploring the various aspects of Life Sciences and particularly Plant Sciences. He has published many research articles in peer reviewed journals and also published a competitive exam book on CSIR NET Life Sciences. His major interest in research includes Bryophyte ecology and evolutionary biology.  He had recently completed a UGC sponsored Minor Research Project on Bryophyte Diversity Of Bassi Wild Life Sanctuary in Chittorgarh (Raj.). Dr. Chaudhary has successfully conducted a National Seminar entitled “Biodiversity and Ecotourism” sponsored by Rajasthan State Medicinal Plant Board in 2016 at Chittorgarh in the capacity of Organizing Secretary.
