Dr. Asha Ram was born on 15th August, 1986 at village Inderwara in Pali district of Raiasthan. He has a PhD in Agronomy with emphasis on soil fertility management. At CAFRI, he is working with major focus on improving productivity of wasteland through silvipasture management with soil and moisture conservation practices, Agroforestry based Integrated farming system, tree-crop interactions study in agroforestry systems and agroforestry based conservation agriculture. In short span of his scientific career, he has published more than 25 research papers, reports and articles, 6 book chapters, 16 popular articles and edited 19 books, technical bulletins and extension folders. Presently he is working as a scientist (Agronomy) at the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) - Central Agroforestry Research Institute (CAFFU), Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh, India.
