Dr. Debasish Kar completed MSc in Biotechnology from Utkal University, Bhubaneswar followed by MTech in Biotechnology from West Bengal University of Technology, Kolkata. He has pursued PhD from the Department of Biotechnology at IIT Kharagpur. He has cleared several examinations for scholarships viz. DBT-JRF, CSIR-NET and GATE. Dr. Kar has published in several peer reviewed journals. He has written a couple of books for CSIR-NET Life Science published from New Delhi. He is appointed as Editor-in-Chief in Bio Frontiers, a monthly magazine for the Biological Science students. Currently, he is working as Assistant Professor in AMITY Institute of Biotechnology, AMITY University, Ranchi.
