Deep Pahalwan is working as Director Farms and Associate Director Research, Jawaharlal Nehru Krishi Vishwa Vidayalya, Jabalpur with 35 years of experience as an Agronomist. He did his Bachelor and Master degree from College of Agriculture, Indore in 1978 and 1980, respectively and Doctorate from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur in 1985. He has vast working experience with farming community and developed several location specific & problem solving technologies for improvement of crop productivity and profitability of important crops. Dr. Pahalwan has worked as master trainer for many institutions and visited China to experience the process of integration of low cost farmers' friendly technologies to enhance farm income and soil health. He has 22 research papers and 06 books in his credit. As Director Farms, he is producing 18000 q Breeder seed of 88 varieties of 22 crops annually to ensure timely availability of quality seeds in 12 states.
