Dr. Deepak G. Panpatte Ph.D. in agricultural microbiology with 9 years of experience in agriculturally beneficial microorganisms, viz. biofertilizers, biopesticides and biodegraders. He has pioneered development of fortified biocontrol bacterial consortiums with phyto-extracts for management of phytopathogenic nematodes and fungi. He received 1 award for Best Ph.D. and 6 for outstanding contributions in agricultural microbiology. He published 14 research papers, 5 books and 16 book chapters with Springer, 1 practical manual, 33 popular articles and 2 editorials.
