D.V. Kothari is retired senior Technical Officer (ENVIS), Central Arid Zone Research Institute, Jodhpur. Born in 1941 did his M.A. (History) from J.N. Vyas University, Jodhpur, B. Lib. Sc. in first class first position from Vikram University, Ujjain and M.Lib. Sc. From Rajasthan University, Jaipur. Shri Kothari, eminently known for his extensive writings is a author of 10 books and contributed many articles in professional journal of repute. He has 10 radio talks to his credit. Shri Kothari is a life member of ILA, IASLIC, RLA and Pustakalaya Parishad, Jodhpur. He remained Secretary for Pustakalaya Parishad, Jodhpur during 1997-21000. Attended many international, national and regional conferences and presented papers. Shri Kothari is associated with many universities for Councelling of B.Lib. Sc. and DLS also worked as examiner for B.Lib. Sc.
