Dr. H.K. Bajaj is a Sr. Taxonomist at Department of Nematology, Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar. Dr. Bajaj is an alumnus of Aligarh Muslim University. He has a distinguished career as a lecturer of nematode morphology, taxonomy and biology since 1977. He is the co-author of ‘Text Book on Introductory Plant Nematology’ published by ICAR, New Delhi, and ‘Practical Manual on Introductory Plant Nematology’ published by C.C.S.H.A.U, Hisar. He has been a technical member of the team for writing ‘Definitional Dictionary of Nematology’ published by Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. He has guided three Ph.D. and four M.Sc. students. He has handled four research projects and contributed twenty chapters in various books, and published over 200 research papers. Dr. Bajaj has been instrumental in production of three video films on nematodes including Earcockle Disease of Wheat that was transmitted several times on National Channel.
