Dr. J. Ezra John is a Project associate in Department of Environment and Climate Change Change Chennai. He has a Masters’ and Doctoral degree in Environmental Science from Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore, India. He received his B.Sc. degree in Sericulture from Forest College and Research Institute, Mettupalayam, Coimbatore. His research involves the remediation of industrial effluent affected soils in an environmentally sustainable way. He has developed a microbial consortiu which promotes the growth of agricultural crops planted under paper and pulp mill effluent irrigated soils. He has published about 15 papers on peer-reviewed international, nationaljournals and referred conference proceedings.
