Dr. K. Deepa completed her PhD from IIT Madras in the area of Nanobiotechnology.

She joined SRM Institute of Science and Technology as an Assistant Professor in 2016 and has been pursuing research in the area of kinetics of nanoparticle synthesis, development of nanocomposites and their applications in the degradation of environmental pollutants.

Her work has culminated in producing more than 10 research articles and 3 book chapters during her tenure in the department. Serving as the editor of the department newsletter, “Chemical Chronicle” and holding many administrative responsibilities, her contribution to the growth of the Department of Chemical Engineering has increased tremendously during her 6+ years of academic experience.
