Dr. K.C. Sharma retired as Principal Scientist from the Department of ntomology, Dr YS Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, Nauni, Solan. He did his M.Sc. from Himachal Pradesh Agriculture University, Palampur and Ph.D from Dr YS Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, Nauni, Solan. He has more than 27 years of experience of teaching various courses in Entomology to B.Sc., M.Sc and Ph.D students. He has also a vast experience in handling various ad hoc research projects sponsored by the ICAR, DST, UGC, MOE&F and Mini Mission. Besides, he had been the Co- PI of many research projects sponsored by various funding agencies. He has guided 12 post graduate students for the last 30 years and has published 101 research papers in the journal of national and international repute and three manuals. He has been awarded the appreciation letter by the University for his contribution in the field of Entomology.
