K.P. Dhamu

K. P. Dhamu obtained his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Statistics from Loyola College and Presidency College, Chennai respectively.  He took his Ph.D. degree in Agricultural Econometrics from Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU). He worked as lecturer in Statistics during 1975-77 at Loyola College, Chennai and subsequently at TNAU thereafter. He was an invitee to the Conference ‘Microcomputer Applications in Agricultural Research’ at International Rice Research Institute, Philippines during 1984. He has published 30 papers in reputed journals of national and international importance and co-authored one book, ‘Statistical Workbook in Insecticide Toxicology’ published in 1990. His latest book, ‘Statistical Methods’ for post-graduate students in Agriculture and allied subjects published during 2007 is widely accepted by the student community. He is serving as a resource person in different Universities and Institutes and acclaimed as a well known statistical consultant among research scholars. He is a member in the editorial board of a leading national journal.
