M.A., NET, SET, Ph.D. in Geography from Mohan Lal Sukhadia University, Udaipur. Currently, he is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Geography at Jai Narain Vyas University, Jodhpur. His books, titled “Regional Disparities in Tribal Area” (single author) and “Tourism Development in Desert and Humid Zones” (co-authored), were published in 2012 & 2016 respectively. Dr. Jhala, is the recipient of the “Young

Geographer Award” (2008) at the Rajasthan Geographical Association (RGA) national conference. He has also served as the Vice-Presidentm of RGA from 2020 to 2022. He has participated and presented papers in various

international and national conferences, seminars and workshops; and has published 15 research papers in reputed journals. He has also supervised four Ph.D. scholars from Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur and JNV University, Jodhpur, respectively.
