Dr. M. Prasanthrajan, is presently serving as Head, Centre for AgriculturalnNanotechnology, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. His teaching experience with the Under Graduate, Post Graduate an Doctoral courses in the field of Nanotechnology helped him to write this book for easy understanding of the subject. His post doctoral training in the field of nanoremediation at the University of California, Riverside, USA, during his early career set his goal in publishing a book on nanotechnology. He has published 61 research papers in peer reviewed National and International journals. His books “Objective Environmental Studies and Disaster Management” and “Objective Environmental Pollution and Climate Change” were well received by the students of India. He has obtained fourteen prestigious awards including two international travel grants. He has visited USA, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia and UAE to share his expertise in the field of Environmental Science and Nanotechnology to the international arena.
