Dr. MK Tayal, is Scientist-C at Regional Sericultural Research Station, Central Silk Board, Jammu. He is a Ph.D. in Toxicopharmacology. He joined Central Silk Board, Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India in 1985 and since then he has been actively engaged in various projects related to Silkworm Rearing and Silkworm Pathology.With an experience of over 30 years in Sericulture and Silkworm Pathology, he has published 46 research papers in various reputed Indian and International journals. He has organized and participated in more than 15 scientific conferences, seminars and workshops in India. He has also edited three Proceedings.
