Prof. (Dr.) P. Indira Devi was the Professor of Agricultural Economics and Director of Research at the Kerala Agricultural University, India. She was also the Founder Director of the Centre of Excellence in Environment Economics and was the Head of the Institution of Academy of Climate Change Education and Research, of the University. Presently, she is the Director (Agri.Expert) in the Kerala State Farmer’s Welfare Board. She is the recipient of the Ford Foundation Fellowship  for doctoral studies, Women and Development Pilot project Award of Shastry Indo Canadian Institute (2000) and the Prof. Ramesh Chandra Agrawal Award of the Indian Society of Agricultural Economics (2017). During her 37 years long academic pursuit, she has visited several countries and has authored many publications and has been member in several professional bodies.
