Dr. P.K.Gopalakrishnan is presently the Head of the Department Post - Graduate Studies and Research in Botany, Santana Dharma College, Alleppey. After obtained his Ph.D in Plant Stress Physiology from the Department of Botany, School of Science, Gujarat University in 1981, he joined the present Institution. Dr. Gopalakrishnan is Research Guide of both Kerala and M.G. Universities. He has produced two Ph.D and several M. Phils in Plant Physiology. His area of specialization is Seed Germination, Environmental Physiology etc.
