Prof Shri Prakash Mani Tripathi is a noted Political Scientist and Education Administrator. Prior to joining as the Vice Chancellor of Indira Gandhi National Tribal University, Amarkantak, he served at the Department of Political Science, Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gorakhpur University  (Gorakhpur, UP, India) for four decades.He successfully upheld the responsibilities of the Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences, Head of the Department of Political Science, and the Chief Proctor of the University.He has authored 30 books on various aspects of knowledge in India. He is a recipient of many prestigious awards including the Ganesh Shankar Vidyarti Award, Acharya Hajari Prasad Dwivedi Award, Shikshavid Samman and Pt. Makhanlal Chaturvedi Award.
