Dr. Pramod Medhi M.Sc., Ph. D., FEHT is currently Associate Professor of Botany, Pandu College, Guwahati, India. He received Dr. A. Abraham Award, 2011 instituted and conferred by Indian Society for Root Crops, India and also Arun Pandey Biodiversity Award, 2014 instituted and conferred by East Himalayan Society for spermatophyte Taxonomy (EHSST), India. He is Fellow of East Himalayan Society for spermatophyte Taxonomy (FEHT) since the year 2017. He obtained M.Sc. in Botany and Ph. D. degree from Gauhati University, Guwahati. He joined as lecturer of Botany in Science College, Kokrajhar and then as Assistant Professor of Botany in Haflong Govt. College, Haflong. His published research papers are mainly on the Landraces of crops, Tuber Crops, Traditional Knowledge on plants and Ethnobotany.
