R. Guha

Dr. (Miss) Ratna Guha obtained her M.Sc. (Botany) from Ranchi University, securing first class first position with specialization in Cytogenetics. Dr. (Miss) Guha started her research career as Junior Research Fellow and Senior Research Fellow in the Botanical Survey of India and is presently engaged as Research Associate in the ENVIS centre, Botanical Survey of India. She was awarded Ph.D. degree on the dissertation ``Taxonomy and Pollen Morphology of Indian Helobieae with special reference to Phylogeny'' under supervision of Dr. M.S. Mondal, Joint Director, Botanical Survey of India. Dr. (Miss) Guha has a number of publications to her credit dealing with taxonomy of angiosperms, palynotaxonomy, floral biology, conservation, etc. She is now actively engaged with status and assessment of plant species of India included in CITES.
