Dr. R.S. Kanwar is a Nematologist in C.C.S.H.A.U, Hisar prior to which he was the District Extension Specialist (Nematology) in Krishi Vigyan Kendra of C.C.S.H.A.U. He is actively involved in teaching and extension of Nematology. He is recipient of University merit scholarship during B.Sc. and M.Sc., and ICAR Senior Research Fellowship during his Ph.D. He has guided two M.Sc. Students. He has 45 research papers in reputed journals, 12 book chapters and over 60 extension articles, booklets, and pamphlets to his credit.  Dr. Kanwar has also prepared two video films on nematodes namely 'Molya Disease of Wheat and Barley' and 'Biology of Seinura Paratenuicaudata'.
