Dr. V.K. Gupta Working as Professor and Head, Department of Plant Pathology, Dr. Y.S. Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, Nauni, Solan. He was the Zonal President of Indian Phytopathologcial Society, New Delhi (North Zone) for the year 1992 and fellow of Association of Commonwealth Universities, London for the year 1993. Dr. Gupta was the recipient of Prof. M.J. Narasimhan Academic Merit Award of Indian Phytopathological Society for the year 1977. He has already edited 3 books and written 2 in different fields of Plant Pathology. He has published more than 150 research papers and review articles in journals and books of international repute.
