The aim of writing this book has been to provide an account of the principles of insect behaviour for the post graduate students of Entomology and general Zoology of all the Universities and Research Institutions as well as to the research scholars engaged in the study of different aspects of Insect behaviour. It is also useful to general readers who have basic knowledge of Biology and have curiosity to know why the insects are vividly coloured, have peculiar shapes, produce sound and light; how they communicate and why bees and wasps sting when disturbed.
