he experimental results indicated that the increasing levels of iron significantly increased the grain and straw yield of barley, whereas yields decreased significantly with increasing levels of SAR of irrigation water. The increasing levels of iron also increased significantly to the Ca/Mg ratio in grain and straw which reflects the alkalinity tolerance of barley under higher levels of SAR of irrigation water. The increasing levels of SAR of irrigation water increased the pH and SAR while decreased the ECe, DTPA-Fe of soil. The optimum dose of iron under different levels of SAR water viz., 10, 20, 30, and 40* were 9. W, 8.38, 7.66 and 4.73 kg/ha respectively
