Dr. B. Bakiyathu Saliha is currently working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Soil and Environment, Agricultural College and Research Institute, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Madurai. She won the D. Raj Memorial Award for best M.Sc (Ag) student and Dr. Selvakumari & Canara bank gold medals for the Best Ph.D student in Soil Science & Agricultural Chemistry. Experienced in Teaching, research and extension activities for the past 8 years including 3 years in Horticultural College and Research Institute, Periyakulam She has published 2 text books, 20 research articles and about 25 research notes, abstracts and full papers including the Proceedings of National and international seminars and conferences. Specialized in Soil Fertility Management and Enhancing the Nutrient Use Efficiency of crops. Currently she has handling two externally funded schemes as Principal Investigator including the GOI scheme on Evolving and Evaluating Soil and Crop specific Fertilizer Best Management Practices (FBMP's) for enhancing Agricultural Productivity.
