Dr. D.C. Gupta superannuated as Dean, College of Agriculture, CCS Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar. He headed the department of Nematology for about six years. He guided 3 Ph.D. and 5 M.Sc. students. As a Professor of Nematology, his major contributions are in the fields of Nematode Ecology, Interaction with other organisms, and nematode management. He had been instrumental in designing post graduate course curricula of Nematology. He has been a member of QRT team of Nematology and Vice-president of Nematological Society of India.
