Dr. D.P. Sharma (b. 1947) obtained M.Sc. (Ag.) and Ph.D. in soil science in 1972 and 1976, respectively from HAU, Hisar. Specialised in soil Physics and soil technology, Dr. Sharma has been working for last 18 years at CSSRI, Karnal on reclamation and management of saline soils through drainage. He has published about 75 papers. Presently, he is working as a senior Scientist at CSSRI, Karnal.
