Kaushal
Singh is a forest ecologist with Ph.D. in Forestry from Forest Research
Institute (Deemed) University, Dehradun, Uttarakhand. He has keen interest in
Silviculture, Ethnobotany, Dendrology (Plant taxonomy), Ecology and
biodiversity. This book is an outcome of his experience of teaching and
research from last ten years in areas of Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand
and Uttar Pradesh. He is currently working as Assistant Professor in Department
of Silviculture and Agroforestry, College of Forestry, Banda University of
Agriculture and Technology, Banda, Uttar Pradesh.
