Dr.
M. Karthick is a Scholar borne at the faculty of Forestry and is currently
working as Forest Range Officer (Trainee) in the Tamil Nadu Forest Department.
He has been involved in Improvement and Conservation of Red Sanders genetic
resources through breeding and molecular tools. He is pioneer in improvement of
Acrocarpus fraxinifolius and identified clones amenable paper and plywood
production.
