Dr.  M. A. Singara Charya, Professor of Microbiology has a teaching experience of 31 years at UG & PG levels.  His research fields are environmental microbiology, enzyme technology and bioremediation. He has completed 06 research projects funded by UGC, CSIR, DBT and MoEF and published 145 original research articles in national and international journals having good impact factor.  He supervised 25 research students for the Ph.D. degrees. He edited and authored 06 books for UG, PG and research students. He is a fellow of Indian Microbiological Society and member of any academic bodies in different state universities. He was honored with Best Teacher Award by Govt. of A.P. (2011).
