M.M. Trigunayat

Dr. Madan Mohan Trigunayat obtained his Master's degree standing first among first divisioners at Department of Zoology, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur in 1983. He has worked as Research Entomologist under USDA (United States Department of Agriculture) research scheme and got published more than 90 research papers in leading journals and also attended international (held in India) and many national conferences and seminars. He is the author of thirteen other books on Zoology. He is the Fellow of Entomological and Zoological Society of India. He is member of Eco Ethics International Union (Germany).  He was awarded Summer Research Fellowship from National Academy of Sciences, India in 2011. He organised a National Conference on "Forest and Wildlife: Present status, Future needs and Challenges ahead" in Jan. 2013. He is associated with Crane counting in Keoladeo National Park, Bharatpur for more than two decades. He has been included in Entomologist's profile of India in 1997 and Reference Asia (Asia's who's who of Men and Women of achievements) 1995 and Learned Asia (Educationists who's who) 1996. His present research interests are Insect Biodiversity particularly butterflies and agricultural ornithology.
