The book entitled “Novel Microbial Approaches in Decontamination of Xenobiotics” is dedicated to Prof. V. Rangaswamy, my Ph.D guide. This is a research oriented book in the field of microbial bioremediation with special reference to agrochemicals, textile dyes, polythenes, plastics and polymers. The content in the book mainly focuses on role of different microorganisms, both marine and soil in decontamination of organo pollutants.
