Dr. Manmeet Brar Bhullar, Acarologist Department of Entomology, Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana obtained his Ph.D. 1993 and started her career as Asstt. Acarologist in 1996 in the university. She is engaged in acarological research for over 16 years and also associated with postgraduate teaching progranlmes in Acarology and Insect morphology and Systematics. She was awarded the Acarology Development Foundation(USA) award for undergoing advanced training in Acarology at Ohio State University, USA. She has more than 60 publications including 47 research papers and 12 book chapters to her credit. She is associated with a number of professional societies at national and international level and is also the Jointsecretary of the Indian Society for the advancement of Insect Science
