Dr. Prasann Kumar is a Research Intensive Faculty-cum-Assistant Professor in the Department of Agronomy, School of Agricultural, Lovely Professional University, Punjab, doing his research work on heavy metals toxicity. He has completed the International Agricultural Rural Development Programme from Cornell University, USA. Dr. Kumar is the recipient of ITS (UK), TWAS-BIO VISION.NXT.FELLOW 2014 (FRANCE), TWAS-BIBLIOTHECA ALEXANDRIA (EGYPT, 2014), BIO VISION-ALEXANDRIA (EGYPT, 2014), YOUNG SCIENTIST AWARD 2014 (BRC, ALLAHABAD), YOUNG SCIENTIST (EDU.EXPO, 2017), OIRA (NEPAL), and SAMMAN PATRA, IMS, BHU. He has qualified GATE, ICAR-NET, ICAR-SRF, UGC-JRF, UGC-SRF, INSA Fellowship (New Delhi) and NTS (MSJE, New Delhi) besides being a UGC-Research Fellowship of BHU. He already has more than a hundred publications including a research paper, review articles, book chapters, popular articles, abstracts and books of International and National Repute. Dr. Kumar has published more than 40 books of National and International repute on the aspect of heavy metal stress and others. Dr. Kumar has visited the foreign countries France, United Kingdom, Dubai, Nepal.
