The purpose of this book is to focus on the current state of knowledge and scientific advances regarding the benefits and drawbacks of heavy metal toxicity in crops. As a result, the amendment materials are being used to restore the functioning of soil and water resources. A comprehensive overview of affected land revitalization, clean-up, and revegetation using these amendments has been presented, which could be implemented in the long term management of heavy metal toxicity in farmer's fields and farmer crops, viz., Cd, Pb, Ni, Cr, and so on. The scope of low-cost, energy-neutral soil amendments and technologies has been specifically highlighted, with special emphasis on the ameliorative effects of amended supplements. The intended audience for this book is agricultural scientists and environmental scientists working on various aspects of heavy metal toxicity in natural resources. This book's target audience includes research scholars, consultants, site owners, industrial stakeholders, policymakers, and regulators. Aside from these, my primary target audiences for this book are students, researchers, teachers, young professionals, and those with an interest in Plant Physiology, Agronomy, Food Science, Pathology, Soil Science, Genetics, Plant Breeding, and all the directorates that fall under these categories.
