Dr. S. L. Godara, Professor in the Department of Plant Pathology and presently working as Director Research, Swami Keshwanand Rajasthan Agricultural University, Bikaner. He did his M. Sc. (Ag) Plant Pathology in 1986 from Sukhadia University, Udaipur and Ph. D. in 1995 from Rajasthan Agricultural University, Bikaner. Dr. Godara is a Fellow of Indian Society of Mycology and Plant Pathology and Indian Society of Plant Pathologists. He has three decade long standing experience in the field of education, research and technology transfer. He has been working on management of plant diseases of important field crops viz; mustard, groundnut, cumin, mothbean, clusterbean and post harvest diseases of citrus, ber and guava fruits and Principal Investigator of five research projects on important crops of the region. He has published more than 50 research papers in national as well as international journals, one book on "Disease management of spices crops" and seven practical manuals.
