Dr. C. N. Hari Prasath, is presently working as Senior Research Fellow, Department of Silviculture, Forest College and Research Institute, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Mettupalayam. His field of specialization includes carbon sequestration, precision silviculture, natural gums and commercial tree farming. He has published more than 20 research articles in national and international journals in the field of Forestry Research. He  worked as a Junior Research Fellow in Department of Science and Technology on a funded scheme on Afforestation and Carbon Sequestration. Dr. Prasath also worked as Senior Research Fellow in ICAR- Indian Institute of Natural Resins and Gums funded scheme on Harvesting, Processing and Value Addition of Natural Resins and Gums. He is honored with several prestigious awards for his contribution in the field of forestry research.
