Dr. V. Priyanka, is a Teaching Assistant (Forestry) working at Forest College and
Research Institute, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Mettupalayam. She is
engaged in Professional forestry teaching for the past 3 years. She has won the
prestigious Thiru. S. Kondas Award for being an Outstanding student in her
master’s programme. She is also a DST INSPIRE fellowship awardee in her
doctoral programme. She has published 4 books and more than 15 national and
international papers. Her field of expertise is in natural dyes and forest
products.
